You’ve waited patiently, and now your wedding photos are finally ready, yay! So… now what? As a wedding photographer, I’ve seen couples get overwhelmed with what to do next. Here’s a quick guide to help you make the most of your images after you receive your gallery - including how to make sure your photos stay safe and secure.

Download and Back Everything Up

As soon as you get your gallery link, download all the images to your computer or hard drive. Don’t wait too long - some galleries do expire. I always recommend backing up your photos in at least two places: one physical (like an external hard drive) and one cloud-based, like Apple iCloud or Google Drive. I deliver both a full online gallery and a physical USB with all your wedding photos, so you’ll have both digital and tangible backups from the start. Please remember that technology can fail, and it's always smart to have backups in multiple places.

Choose Your Favorites

Go through your gallery together and pick out your favorites. It’s a fun excuse for a little date night, and it helps you decide what to print or share. Most couples love having a mix of emotional moments, party photos, and those classic portraits.

Share with Friends and Family

You can send the full gallery or just your highlights. I always deliver high-resolution images, so you can easily post online or email them to family. Tag your vendors too - we always appreciate the love!

Print Something

There’s something extra meaningful about holding your photos in your hands. I include professional prints and a keepsake box in every wedding package because I want you to have something real to hold onto. You can also gift prints to your parents or frame your favorites for your home.

Think About an Album or Display

Even if you’re not into traditional albums, there are so many modern options. A small coffee table book, a wall collage, or even a print box you can flip through anytime - it’s all about making your memories easy to access and enjoy.

Celebrate (Again)

This is your chance to relive the day. Pour a glass of wine, watch your slideshow, and revisit your memories. The day may be over, but your photos are here to help you remember how it felt.
