Hello, and welcome to my page! I’m a wedding photographer based in Lincoln, Nebraska, and I’ve been photographing weddings for over a decade now. My story started in 2012, back when I was planning my own wedding. Like many people, I had no idea how to find the right photographer. I looked through so many portfolios, trying to picture myself and my husband in those galleries. That experience made me realize how personal photography really is. You’re not just hiring someone to take pictures, you’re trusting them to understand what matters to you and capture it honestly. That idea stuck with me.
One year later I bought a camera and photographed my very first wedding. I didn’t have a plan to turn it into a real job at the time, I just wanted to try. But once I started, I couldn’t stop. I spent every spare moment learning how to work with light, how to edit, how to anticipate moments, and how to help people feel like themselves in front of a camera. Slowly, one wedding at a time, I built a business.
Since then, I’ve photographed weddings across the Midwest, but most of my work happens right here around Lincoln and Omaha. I’ve met so many incredible couples over the years, and every single wedding has been different in the best way. No two people have the same story, and I love getting to see how each couple celebrates in a way that reflects who they are.
My approach is simple: I want you to enjoy your day, and I’ll take care of capturing it. I don’t believe in forcing things to look a certain way. The best photos come from genuine moments: your best friend laughing during toasts, your parents holding hands during the ceremony, the way you look at each other when no one else is watching. Those are the things I pay attention to.
I'm not just someone who shows up with a camera and leaves with files. I care deeply about what I do and the people I work with. One of the most rewarding parts of my job is seeing couples react to their photos. When they send me messages about how a certain image made them smile or cry, or how it brought back a feeling they weren’t expecting. That connection matters to me. I want your photos to feel like you. Relaxed, real, and full of meaning.
Outside of weddings, I’m someone who loves quiet mornings, a good book, and playing tennis when the weather cooperates (Nebraska weather doesn’t always make that easy). I’m a bit of a homebody, but I’ll gladly pack a bag and travel if a couple invites me to document their story somewhere new. I’ve shot barn weddings, downtown city weddings, lakeside celebrations, cathedral ceremonies, and intimate elopements. I love the variety and the unexpectedness of it all, and every wedding reminds me why I started doing this in the first place.
