ENGAGEMENT | LINCOLN, NEBRASKA



I had the best time photographing Josiah and Serenity’s engagement session at Pioneers Park in Lincoln, Nebraska. Fall is one of my favorite times for engagement photos because the golden light at sunset makes everything glow. This session was full of laughter, relaxed posing, and so much love between these two.


Josiah and Serenity were so easy to photograph. Their smiles were genuine and came so naturally. You could instantly tell how much they love each other just by the way they looked at one another. I didn’t have to give them much direction, since their connection really showed in every photo.


For their engagement pictures, I kept the posing simple and natural. Instead of stiff or formal poses, I guided them into spots where they could just be themselves. Whether they were walking through the tall grass, holding hands on the trails, or pausing to take in the sunset, everything felt effortless. The relaxed posing gave us photos that truly reflect their personalities and their relationship.


The highlight of the evening was when the sun began to set over Pioneers Park. The sky lit up with warm tones of orange and pink, creating a beautiful backdrop for their fall engagement photos. Some of my favorite images came from this time, when they were laughing together and enjoying the moment as the light faded.


Pioneers Park is one of the best spots in Lincoln for engagement sessions. The open fields, tall grass, and natural scenery make it perfect for couples who want romantic photos with a relaxed feel. For Josiah and Serenity, it was the perfect choice.


Sessions like this remind me why I love being a Lincoln Nebraska engagement photographer. Capturing real emotions, natural smiles, and sweet in-between moments is what makes these photos so special. I’m so excited for Josiah and Serenity as they head into this next chapter of their lives together
